When you find snowing flying that means it’s time to get ready for winter with the Bosse Ergonomic Snow Shovel. What’s so different about the Boss Snow Shovel? The Bosse Snow Shovel has a special 360 Grip that let’s you turn it to make gripping the handle much easier on your hands, wrists, arms, shoulders and back that will let you blast through heavy snow, slush and ice with less effort and exertion.
The Bosse snow shovel has been specifically designed for comfort and added safety. It weighs just over 5 lbs and we found that wasn’t too heavy for daily use.
The 360 Grip is what makes the Boss snow shovel so unique. By changing the way the shovel is handled, the 360 Grip increases your comfort level and productivity while reducing the risk of injury to your wrist, shoulder and back. Just press the red button and the 360 Grip turns. Turn it until it locks into the position you need to make your snow shoveling workload easier on your body.
Bosse suggests that you place the 360 Grip in the neutral/horizontal position (perpendicular to the main shaft of the shovel). This is the suggested default position for any of multi-tasking. If you find that it works better in a different position, simply click the button and rotate the handles so that your knuckles are facing downwards and in the direction you want to snow to fly.
Want to pitch to the left? Aim your knuckles down to the left. Pitching to the right? aim your knuckles down to the right.
Note: This is not a prying tool. Your Bosse shovel has been optimized for comfort as a digging and transferring tool. Using your shovel for excessive prying may cause 360-degree housing failure.
The Bosse premium quality snow shovel is made for daily use. It is made with a durable, impact resistant, UV resistant handle as well as lightweight, yet strong fiberglass shaft and forged steel head. Fiberglass is a strong material and with proper care, fiberglass will also last longer than wood. They also add steel reinforcements throughout the shaft of the shovel to make it even stronger.
We like the bold red color that helps the Bosse snow shovel stand out in the snow. When the snow piles up and I forget to put the shovel away and snow builds up, and I forget to put it by the door, I can easily spot the handle sticking out.
The folks at Boss tell me that their tests indicate the shovel will break when approximately 100lbs of prying force applied to the shaft. All shovel shafts will break if you apply enough force so Bosse shovels are no exception.
