The Chamberlain mini remote is a great option to have along with your regular garage door remote because you can give to someone you trust such as your kids, mailman, UPS/Fedex drive (if you have regular drop-offs, great idea for a home business), house cleaner or even a trusting neighbor who watches your house while you are away.

First, make sure your garage door is closed. Press and hold the bottom button on the remote until the blue LED light is solid (approximately 10 seconds) and then release the button.

Our Thoughts about the Chamberlain Mini Remote
We were able to program it easily, just as it promised. We like the small design and the fact that it comes with a battery already in the unit with a key ring attached. This remote is a great way to give access to your home for people who need it and you trust (children, someone watching your house, etc) without having to give them the original remote that comes with the garage door. It is also a convenient way to carry your remote if you are just leaving for a little while to jog, walk the dog, or get the mail. We also like how two doors can be programmed into the mini remote. This is a great little remote with a lot of value.
